What is Chris’s experience with conventions and trade shows?
Chris has worked at CES, NAB, HITEC, HIMSS, FETC, NSA. More available upon request.
What type of videos should I think about for my event?
There are almost endless options, it really comes down what you are looking for. Here are some examples:
- Conference elements: vignettes, man on the street interviews, introductions, skits, safety announcements, featured sponsors and daily agendas.
- Film and produce videos to promote upcoming events.
- Businesses that attend conventions/expos and want to share their experiences throughout the event.
- Convention vendors that want to highlight their services after an event.
- Film a specific event during a conference.
- Conference case study or customer experience video.
My event may need more than one camera person, does Chris have support?
Yes, Chris is connected with fantastic videographers and audio operators who are talented and reliable.

How does travel work?
Chris’s travel costs are on a case by case bases. There are no travel costs inside of the Texas Triangle: Dallas, San Antonio and Houston.
Do I own the footage?
Yes, once final payment is received, you can have all the raw and edited footage.
What are some unexpected costs?
Traveling sometimes has unexpected costs. However, In my estimate I cover airfare or driving the production van to your event, hotels, Ubers/taxis, oversized luggage, Carnet and more so everything is covered.
- Carnet: For international travel, depending on the circumstance and camera equipment required we may have to acquire an ATA Carnet which is an international customs document that allows the temporary import and export of goods without paying duties or taxes.
What is one of the most overlooked parts of production?
Delivery. For corporate clients, the delivery process is making sure the videos have English subtitles with correct spelling and grammar. Formatting the video for the different social platforms (HD, vertical and square). Other formats may be requested by the event team to share on different sized display screens. And last, a compelling designed thumbnail image for each video.
